The Wrath of the Northmen - Viking Conversion Mod is a mod designed to be a total conversion of the Viking age. The original idea was to create a Sturgian Overhaul but with the aim to expand and become a total conversion mod.
The current state of the mod is that it has been created into a Northern faction and currently boasts a conversion of the Sturgia troops to now appear as a Northern faction. The next change in the pipeline is to refine the Vlandian troops to appear more reminiscent of that of the Norman/Frankish culture and to relook at the Battanians as an (Anglo) Saxon faction.
The mod has been created with the idea to create the Northern troops to be more like the Vikings. The troops that are currently created are of a slavic nature and are armed with kite shields and mounted on horses. These troops are not made out of the same materials as the Vikings of the time and are not as effective in battle.
